The H2R Story
H2R Business Solutions was founded with a simple but powerful idea: that businesses of all sizes deserve access to quality, strategic HR support – without the red tape or corporate jargon. That idea came from Jill Zappitelli, an experienced HR leader who combined corporate expertise with a passion for supporting people-first workplaces.
After years in senior HR roles, Jill launched H2R in 2016 to fill a gap she saw in the market: small and mid-sized businesses that needed real HR guidance – not theory. Her people-first philosophy quickly made her beloved locally, and resonated with business owners across Ontario. Her leadership & commitment to supporting others earned her recognition as the 2021 Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Woman of the Year.
Today, H2R continues to grow under a new generation of leadership. We are continuing to expand our services, embrace technology, and build a collaborative team that shares Jill’s original vision: to help businesses thrive by taking care of their people – with integrity, clarity, and care.
