Margaret Sullivan Williams is a People and Culture Coach who contributes to great workplace cultures by creating space for people to live and work creatively and courageously to their fullest potential. Margaret promotes an environment of openness and trust that empowers people to show up as their best selves. For clients and employers, this means journeying together towards excellence.
With integrity, compassion and appreciation, Margaret coaches by creating a confidential, safe and creative space for clarity, awareness, self-discovery, strategy and action towards the achievement of the client’s compelling vision. While organizations and clients are unique, Margaret’s hoped-for outcomes of this work include open and effective communication, clarity of purpose, great relationships, better work-life balance and people who create work cultures that enhance life.
An independent coach and consultant since 2011, Margaret’s offerings have included leadership and organizational development, conflict resolution, people practice analysis and structural human resource program development and implementation. She has coached on topics such as communication, team building, career development, inclusive workplaces, dealing with conflict, and performance management.
Margaret regularly works with a variety of people (ranging from staff and front-line supervisors to Director and Vice President level leaders, owners and founders) in many business sectors, including clients from municipalities, healthcare, education, technology, public service, not-for-profit and private corporations.
Margaret holds an Honours BA Degree and Human Resources Management Diploma from Guelph University, is a Certified Executive Coach (CEC) and Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL), and is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation. She served as Professional Development Director for the Grand Valley Chapter of the HRPA. With her husband, Geoff, Margaret is raising two boys who share their father’s curiosity and their mother’s love of learning.
