With 25 years of extensive experience in the Human Resources field, Jenny Simpson brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as a Senior Learning and Development Consultant. Her diverse background spans both the public and private sectors, including notable positions at a large multinational pharmaceutical company and as a professor teaching HR courses at a Community College.

Jenny is dedicated to empowering individuals to reach their fullest potential and achieve their goals. With over a decade of experience in personal development and coaching, Jenny has helped countless clients.

Jenny has held various impactful roles throughout her career, including serving as an HR Consultant with her own consulting business, as well as a Corporate Training and Development Manager. Her experiences also extend to assisting a large hospital system with change management during a significant transition period

Jenny specializes in a wide range of HR functions, including leadership coaching, recruitment and selection, employee relations, training and development, team building, leadership development, and strategic HR planning. Her expertise in these areas is supported by her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University and her HR designation from Niagara College.

Jenny is certified in several assessments, including the MBTI personality assessment, Crucial Conversations, Crucial Accountability, Korn Ferry 360 assessment, and the Thomas Kilmann Conflict Assessment. These certifications enhance her ability to provide valuable insights and solutions to her clients

Jenny’s passion for leadership development extends beyond her professional endeavors. She is dedicated to supporting children’s charities in international locations such as Honduras, Uganda, Kenya, the Philippines, Nepal, and Tibet. Additionally, she played a pivotal role in bringing the Helping Hands program to Canada, a philanthropic team-building initiative that provides free access to prosthetic hands for amputees in developing nations.

Driven by her enthusiasm for life, Jenny maintains an extensive “Bucket Book” filled with adventures and experiences she hopes to undertake. Her adventurous spirit has led her to pursue unique experiences, including a forthcoming journey to Antarctica to complete her 7-continent journey.
